S.H.A.R.K. Book Safe, Honest and Respectful Kids |

The S.H.A.R.K. book is a 3-ring binder which houses EVERYTHING students and parents need to keep up-to-date with what is going on at school. The S.H.A.R.K. book need to be brought to school daily and reviewed each night. Below are the components of our S.H.A.R.K. book:
| Important Paperwork | Any paperwork found in the front inside pocket needs to be reviewed daily. |
| Money Pouch | This pencil pouch is where I ask you to place money and checks for lunch, milk, field trips, etc. All money or checks need to be in a sealed, labeled envelope with your child's name. |
| Parent / Teacher Communication | This paper is for any written communication between home and school. Please make sure your child is aware of the note and alerts me in the morning to read it as some days are busy and I don't want to miss it. Full pages will be removed and replaced by me. |
| Character Calendar | A monthly calendar will be in the S.H.A.R.K. book that your child will color daily to indicate his/her clip color on the "Character Clips" chart in our classroom. Please initial daily and celebrate the great days with your child! |
| Homework Folder | Your child will be given homework throughout the course of the year. I suggest you keep this homework in the folder at all times so it does not get misplaced, however it must be in the folder on Fridays to be checked and updated. |
| Contacts Page | Ways to contact me and other staff members will be shared on the contacts page. Please keep the contact's page in the S.H.A.R.K. book. This is also available on our class website under the parents tab. |
| Class Information | A current class list, directory, schedule and other classroom information will be kept in plastic sheet protectors for you to reference, when needed. Our specials, lunch, and recess times are indicated on the schedule. |
| Returned Student Work | The back pocket of the binder is where your child will bring home graded homework and class work. |
